Hunting Violation

Violation had been displayed at Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park.

At Kharagauli municipality, nine armed person Avtandil G, Zurab A, Davit P, Grigoli A, Davit A, Zurab K, Archil P, Valeri A, and Giorgi A had been at the strict nature reserve, togather with hunter dogs.

With the organization of Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF), a workshop had been at the Agency of Protected Areas which aimed biodiversity monitoring program 2016-20128 years  discussions at the selected protected areas.

On 3th of March, cooperation memorandum has been signed between Agency of Protected Areas and the members of Treepex at East Point. The memorandum had been signed by the Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas Lasha Moistsrapishvili, founder of Treepex Bachana Khachidze and Lasha Kvantaliani.

Martvili Canyon Visitors’ Centre is in the process of construction

Ongoing constructions of tourist infrastructure in Martvili Canyon Natural Monument had been inspected by the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia Gigla Agulashvili and Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas Lasha Moistsrapishvili. Visitors Centre is in a process of construction at the above natural monument.

In Georgia, Swiss mission will finance Tbilisi National Park’s trail arrangement. Concerning this issue, at the Embassy of Switzerland a grant agreement had been signed.

Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas Lasha Moistsrapishvili held a meeting with Rumanian organization ProPark’s representatives and other interested parties. At the meeting were discussed National Plan for Capacity Building for the Protected Areas of Georgia, existing situation’s analyze and future plans.
