A meeting had been organized by the department of Internal Audit  that been attended by the Heads of the organizations  and Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas Lasha Moistsrapishvili and Deputy Chairman Vakhtang Tukvadze  at the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia.

Protected Areas’ Friends’ Association Forum had been held at Hotel Courtyard Marriot, where Deputy Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia Ekaterine Grigalava and Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas Lasha Moistsrapishvili addressed to participants. 

Media Seminar

Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas Lasha Moistsrapishvili held a presentation for media representatives in the frame of Forest Week, in Borjom-Kharagauli National Park’s visitors’ center. Main topics of the presentation were Agency of Protected Areas’ achievements and challenges.

Pasture Management plan had been implemented

Sum up meeting of the project Mitigation and adaptation benefits and dividends for local communities had been held at hotel Radisson Blu Iveria. Deputy Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia Ekaterine Grigalava thanked project organizations for the assistance and emphasized importance of local community.

Book’s presentation

At Lagodekhi Protected Areas’ Administration, children’s book presentation Adventure at Lagodekhi Forest had been held. The authors of the book are: organization GLEN-GECO’s program’s volunteers – Emanuel Chevalie, Julia Biotgeri and Raffaella Holtseriarian. They had been at Lagodekhi Protected Areas, in order to share experience each other.

Belorussian delegates visit

Deputy Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia Ekaterine Grigalava held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Sports and Tourism Mikhail Portnoi.  At the meeting, parties discussed current situation in the field of tourism, and future perspectives. 

Meeting with Lithuanian delegation

Representatives of the Agency of Protected Areas held meeting with Lithuanian delegation at the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia. The meeting aimed experience sharing. 

Media Tour had been held at Martvili Canyon

Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia Gigla Agulashvili, together with the Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas Lasha Moistsrapishvili hosted media representatives at Martvili Canyon.

World Congress Conservation

Deputy Minister of the Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia together with Deputy Chairwoman of the Agency of Protected Areas Tamar Kvantaliani are participating in ongoing World Congress Conservation in Honolulu, Hawaii. 

Eco-educational trail

Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas Lasha Moistsrapishvili had been at Tusheti National Park, where he acquinted eco-educational trail’s planning activities.
