Registration for Paliastomi Lake tours should be done at the Visitor Center. Address is Poti, Guria str #222. While the tour itself starts from the Paliastomi Lake ranger station, located 1 km from the visitor center.
The Paliastomi Lake tour begins from ranger station on the Paliastomi Lake, continues to the small Paliastomi Bird watching tower and ends at the same Paliastomi Lake ranger station. During the tour visitors will explore the beautiful landscapes of Lake Paliastomi and the shores of Little Paliastomi, the high, impressive reedbeds, secondary wet meadows, and the dense cover of royal ferns. From the bird watching towers, it is possible to observe migratory birds sheltering in the reets, some of which are rare species from the Red List.
The total length of the route is 13.2 km.
In terms of difficulty, it is classified as an easy trail, as it is completed entirely by motorized boats.
