Fire has been localized in Vashlovani National Park

On May 24th, 2013 a fire broke out in Vashlovani Protected Area (PA). The fire covered about 3 hectares of territory and damaged grass cover and bulk trees.  Vashlovani PA Administration and Rangers localized the fire in 3 hours. Fire in Kvabuli area was located in quite a remote and not accessible location. Thanks to prompt actions no significant loss was reported. The reason of fire is not known yet. Local police investigates the case.
