Training is in progress for the purpose of strengthening the capacity of the administration’s staff of the Agency of Protected Areas

The training course focuses on improving the effectiveness of protected area management and enhancing biodiversity conservation.

This training course is part of the new grant project titled - "Advancing Sustainable Development and Protected Area Management System".

One of the main goals of the project is to strengthen the capabilities of the employees of the administration of protected areas in the direction of developing management plans and short-term operational plans. As part of the project, it is planned to develop/update the management plan of Tbilisi National Park and the operational plan related to it.

The project " Advancing Sustainable Development and Protected Area Management System" The project is supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the government of Sweden, under the Governance Reform Fund (GRF) project.
