The Agency of Protected Areas of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia presented the National Parks of Georgia at the ITB Berlin, one of the most popular international tourist exhibitions in the world.

The protected areas of Georgia, especially the hiking destinations, caused great interest among the participants of the exhibition, especially among the representatives of Germany, France, Spain, Greece, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, and America, with whom the Agency of Protected Areas exchanged contact information.

In 2023, Georgia presented itself as a host country at the ITB Berlin exhibition and had access to tens of thousands of audiences directly and indirectly involved in the tourism industry.

At the 3-day exhibition of ITB Berlin, the protected areas of Georgia presented the ecotourism and adventure destination, with appropriate visual and textual materials. Interested persons had the opportunity to get detailed information about the diversity and uniqueness of national parks, and through virtual glasses, they were introduced to the unique protected areas of Georgia.
