The Agency of Protected Areas Continues Professional Skills Development and Training for Its Employees
The Agency of Protected Areas continues its efforts to strengthen employees’ professional skills and provide further training. As part of this initiative, staff members of the Machakhela Protected Areas Administration received training in conflict management.
The training is based on an effective communication guide developed for rangers, which takes into account the practical experience of protected areas staff and the challenges they face in their daily work. The course covers practical approaches to identifying and preventing conflict situations, effective communication, negotiation, and conflict management. The training sessions are conducted with the support of the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF).
During the current period, the course has also been completed by staff members of the Pshav-Khevsureti, Batsara-Babaneuri, Vashlovani, Racha, Kolkheti, Kobuleti, and Kintrishi Protected Areas Administrations.
To support the ongoing professional development of employees and promote effective communication in protected areas, the training sessions will continue in the future.
