Practical Communication Training is being Conducted to Raise Awareness of the Rangers of the Agency of Protected Areas of Georga
To strengthen the capabilities, improve work efficiency, and raise awareness of the protected areas system of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, the Agency of Protected Areas conducts 2-day training in each territorial administration. Consequently, within the framework of the project, more than 100 employees have already been trained.
The knowledge and skills acquired during the 2-day training will be crucial for the rangers. It will help the rangers of the protected area administrations, natural resources and visitor service specialists to communicate effectively with tourists. Moreover, the training will contribute to the development of their coordinated work.
The initiative aims to raise the qualifications of rangers of protected areas, natural resources, and visitor services specialists by sharing the best international practices. Hence, sharing the best international practices will further advance service standards in protected areas, establish the best culture and strengthen effective communication skills. By the end of this year, it is planned to train all the employees of the territorial administrations of the Agency of Protected Areas.
