Okatse Canyon became the winner of the nomination for "the most adventurous national park of Georgia"

This year, 7 protected areas were included in the annual Welcome to Georgia competition in the field of tourism and hospitality. The winner was named by a jury consisting of international and Georgian professionals.

As the Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas, Davit Iosebashvili noted, such important contests as the National Tourism Awards contribute to ecotourism development.

Okatse Canyon is located in the village of Gordi in Khoni municipality and offers unforgettable adventures to lovers of extreme adventures. The first cliff-hanging trail in Georgia follows Okatse Canyon. The path is narrow and circular travel is only possible in one direction. The 780-meter-long trail is at a height of 152 meters, and the crown of the trail is a panoramic view.
