Leased Properties 

As a result of the e-auction announced in August 2013 by the Agency of Protected Areas of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resource Protection of Georgia, the following properties have been transferred for lease to the winning participants:

1. Borjomi-Kaharaguli National Park Visitor Center – a hotel with 4 rooms and cafeteria, 10 year-term lease. Leaseholder - Ltd St. Panteleimon Mkurnali Clinic. Lease amounts to 33% of annual turnover.
2. Gardabani Managed Reserve tourist infrastructure – 1 guesthouse and 4 shelters for hunters. 49 year-term lease. Leaseholder – Meidan Group Ltd. Lease amounts to 11% of annual turnover. In addition, the Meidan Group agrees to make an investment of at least 650,000 Gel into the leased property.

Furthermore, the auction to lease the following properties was unsuccessful: Imereti Caves Protected Areas tourist infrastructure (cafeteria, area of 32,85 sq.m) and Lagodekhi Protected Areas Administration tourist infrastructure (Visitor Center, 465,9 sq.m). The second auction for the above-mentioned properties has been planned and information pertaining to the time and date of the auction will be updated in the near future.
