Grant agreements were signed between the Agency of Protected Areas and the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF)

Within the framework of the grant agreements, the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) will provide co-financing of life and health insurance for all protected areas’ administration staff (rangers) over the next year. The cooperation also spans the provision of salary supplements to the employees of the protected areas’ administrations.

The agreements were signed by the Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Iuri Nozadze, the Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas, Davit Iosebashvili, and the Executive Director of the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF), Tobias Muenchmeyer.

"The Agency of Protected Areas has closely cooperated with the Caucasus Nature Fund for many years. We are delighted that this year we signed a grant agreement aimed at building up the motivation and improving working conditions of our employees," noted the Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Iuri Nozadze.
The Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) has many years of successful cooperation with the Agency of Protected Areas and makes a great contribution to the infrastructure development of the protected areas, as well as to increase the incentive and encouragement of employees.
