Agency of Protected Areas at the International Travel Fair Expo Georgia
16th International Travel Fair was opened at the exhibition center Expo Georgia. The exhibition aims at promoting of tourism potential and protected areas of Georgia. The welcome speeches in front of the gathered public were made by Khatuna Gogaladze – the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection; Giorgi Kvirikashvili - the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Badri Bagration-Gruzinsky - Deputy Minister of Culture and Monument Protection, Rati Japharidze – the Chairman of Agency of Protected Areas and Giorgi Sigua – the Head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration.
More than 100 organizations and tour-operator companies offering diverse tourist services such as leisure travel, cultural, historical, wine, as well as adventure and extreme tours are represented at the exhibition. The Exhibition is organized with the support of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection, the Agency of Protected Areas, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Georgian National Tourism Administration, the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection and Tbilisi City Hall.
The Exhibition will last till April 13, at the Expo Georgia Exhibition Center, Pavilion 11.
