Tamar Aladashvili, director of the Environmental Information and Education Center, opened the meeting and spoke to the young people about the importance of wetlands.

Nata Sultanishvili, Head of the Planning and Development Service of the Agency of Protected Areas, gave a lecture to the students about wetlands and discussed the role of wetlands in climate mitigation processes, maintaining the quantity and quality of fresh water.
