Agency of Protected Areas takes part in international tourism fair

Agency of Protected Areas takes part in 19th International Tourist Exhebition that will be opened on 27th of April at Expo Georgia and will be continued till 29th of April.
This year Agency of Protected Areas of Georgia will offer visitors interactive exhibition pavilion equipped with the newest technologies. Visitors will have an opportunity to see existing services at protected areas of Georgia. New promotion materials will be prepared specially for the exhibition.
At the exhibition stand will be presented it visitors will have an opportunity to travel in virtual reality via VR Oculus rifts at three protected areas: Martvili Canyon, Birtvisi Canyon and Vashlovani National Park.
Visitors will have an opportunity to take photos in cave decoration and in boat.
Agency of Protected Areas prepares for tourist season opening in a special way. It has to be mentioned that started approximately 11 tourist objects building process, totally it costs 8.5 million Gel. New visitors’ centers building process has already started at Algeti, Kazbegi, Pshavi-Khevsureti, Kintrishi, Kobuleti and Machakhela protected areas.
Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia Gigla Agulashvili together with Deputy Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia Ekaterine Grigalava will be attended the exhibition.
At the exhibition will take part international organizations, public sectors representatives, and togather with Agency of Protected Areas Georgian National Tourism Administration and Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia are taking part.
